The Department of Kinesiology has a student majors club called the HAWKS Club. HAWKS stands for Health Advocates for Wellness with Kinesiology Students.
The mission of HAWKS is to provide students with the opportunity for professional development, leadership development, professional certifications, and professional networking. HAWKS seeks to accomplish this mission by providing opportunities for various professional certifications, networking events, professional and leadership development opportunities through research and presentations.
In 2022-2023, these students coordinated networking events with alumni, hosted Safe Zone training, a resume writing workshop and a CPR certification.
