Master of Arts in Teaching with specialization in Special Education (MAT)
The Master of Arts in Teaching with a specialization in Special Education allows students to continue their studies, after earning a bachelor's degree, and earn an initial teaching license for Special Education General Curriculum, grades K-12. Our program prepares students to implement research-based instruction for K-12 public school students with mild to moderate disabilities that access the general curriculum, North Carolina Standard Course of Study (NCSCOS). Our MAT Special Education program is a 30-hour program offered totally online.
